Wet weather policy

We will provide a general weather and land update two weeks before Mobius 2.0. If there is some or a lot of wet weather forecast for the weekend, we will make a decision and let everyone know at least 1 week beforehand.

Our general policy is that if there is 15ml/day or more predicted over the weekend, we are likely to postpone the event to a future date. The reason for this is primarily to protect the land from damage because if it is too sodden, the grass and roads are ruined. It can take a really long time to rehabilitate the land after being trodden and driven over during a wet period. Thanks for helping us protect the beautiful Dacelo.

Arrival and departure times

Please arrive any time from 11am on Friday 29 April 2022 and leave by 5pm on Sunday 1 May 2022. However, we prioritise your safety over times so you are welcome to stay Sunday night if you need additional time to rest.

Cars

Please carpool if you are coming from out of town. There will be parking outside the property and we will have utes shuttling people and their belongings to and from the campsite.

The property has a steep gravel road down to the camp area, which we will only allow 4WD and camper vans to access. If you’d like to bring in your car to the camp area, there are a limited number of car passes for those who want to bring their cars. You can buy them via the Humanitix website.

It is only a short walk from the main road to the campsite in case you would prefer to hike in.
